BRIEF
For this project i have chosen to look at natural reflection. I will start by looking at some glass jewellery i own. I will take photographs to capture the colours and effects of light on my chosen reflective objects. This project will be the basis of me improving on the digital skills i have already acquired i will also be using software such as Adobe Illustrator for the first time and will be learning how it is used and interpret that into my work.
This project will focus on surface design, i will use my own research and primary research to develop prints and patterns, then creating a final collection of prints that i will demonstrate in context.
Working with Illustrator will enable me to be really brave and extravagant with my ideas, i will have the option to create patterns in a way i have never before been able to achieve. I plan to experiment with colour, giving my work a large variety of different prints.
During the project i will also be taking part in a competition,to help me engage with the outside world.
I will use printsi design to then submit for a t shirt,etc.
